Bernie Frazier joins IMPACT Group as a Career/Transition Coach drawing on 25+ years of experience as a career coach and talent acquisition leader. Her mission is to help people overcome barriers to achieve greater success. With experiences that have allowed her to see all sides of career management and career transition, Bernie brings a unique perspective to each situation, allowing her to empathize with clients while also encouraging and supporting them to find and grow great careers.
From CEOs to individual contributors, Bernie has coached professionals from around the globe on the fine art of career development, career transition, and job search effectiveness. She applies a highly customized and strategic approach to help clients identify goals and develop actionable solutions to achieve those goals. Known for her ability to get to the heart of a matter, Bernie helps her clients think differently about their careers and circumstances, all while making it fun!
Prior to joining IMPACT Group, Bernie spent almost 25 years recruiting talent for six organizations across the consumer-packaged goods, insurance, public relations, healthcare, and commercial real estate industries. She also led talent acquisition for four of those organizations, including one in a global capacity. In 2011, Bernie started her own career coaching and speaking firm, where she expanded her coaching reach to include global and executive-level clients, and in 2018, she published Your Success is in YOU!: Empowering and Equipping You to Create Your Best Career Ever!.
Bernie earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University. She is a member of the Human Resources Certification Institute and a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). In her spare time, Bernie volunteers as the board vice president for It’s Your Birthday, Inc., teaches job search skills training for a local transitional housing facility, and serves as programming committee co-chair for Professional Women’s Alliance. For fun, Bernie enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and eating a really good meal!
