Beth Symes comes to IMPACT Group as a professional certified coach with 16 years of experience working with both individual leaders and high-performing teams. She brings rigor to the coaching process and takes a supportive yet challenging approach as she helps clients stretch to meet their goals, broaden their perspectives, challenge their thinking, and deepen their skill sets, even when it’s uncomfortable. Coaching is not for the faint of heart, and Beth demonstrates a passion for guiding clients as they enhance their skills and expand their impact.
A gifted facilitator, Beth’s coaching expertise focuses on senior executives looking to have greater impact and influence—those who want to leverage their success and push themselves beyond their current capabilities to grow their span of responsibility. She has worked as a coach for the London Business School, supporting dozens of their executive education programs in the U.S. and abroad. Beth’s industry experience spans multiple sectors, including insurance, banking, retail, government, and others.
Beth has enhanced her coaching skills through ongoing education in several areas. She is certified to work with numerous 360-degree feedback and team assessments, Emotional Intelligence assessments, Meyers Briggs and DiSC instruments, and many more.
Prior to joining IMPACT Group, Beth held management roles in sales, customer service, product management, and leadership development within the airline, corporate services, and pharmaceutical industries.
Beth is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis with a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management. She also has a Master of Arts degree from Fielding Graduate University in Organization and Management Development, where she also earned her International Coach Federation certification. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers College in New Jersey.
An avid reader and cook, Beth spends her spare time travelling the world with her husband and friends and also enjoys quality family time with her children.
