Fenny Ang is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC™) who possesses more than 20 years of management consulting and HR practitioner experience in corporate
and NGO sectors across Asia Pacific. She specializes in change management, leadership development, and cross-cultural management. Fenny is based in Shanghai.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin and proficient in Bahasa Melayu and Cantonese.
As a Global Career/Transition Coach at IMPACT Group, Fenny empowers professionals to identify and achieve their personal career goals. She excels at coaching
senior managers and business leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities, build successful teams, and navigate change during organizational challenges
(such as M&A, restructurings, and layoffs). Her recent coaching and training projects focus on upskilling managers in managing change and helping executives
successfully navigate cross-cultural terrains.
Previously, Fenny was based in Jakarta and provided leadership development, performance management, and executive coaching to FMCG multi-national companies,
such as Nestlé, SC Johnson, and Unilever. She also provided life coaching to several entrepreneurs and educators.
Prior to her career coaching experience, Fenny worked as a senior managing consultant for IBM China, developing the Multi-National Banks’ portfolio in
the Greater China Group. She held a 10-year career at Accenture, one of the largest global management consulting companies, where she consulted with senior
executives in financial services institutions in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, and the U.S. As a change management specialist, her
expertise includes customer relationship management, leadership development, and organization design.
Fenny believes in investing in women to make the world a better place. She currently serves as a board member of Tirzah International, a Christian NGO
that works alongside local partners in Africa, Asia, and South America to fight against modern slavery, oppression, and poverty of women worldwide.
She obtained her PhD in International Business Management from the University of South Australia and received her M.A. in Educational Leadership (specializing
in HR Development) from Western Michigan University. She holds multiple coaching certifications, including as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), as
well as designations in various personality and leadership assessments, such as the Myers-Briggs Style Indicator (MBTI) and the Cultural Intelligence Scale
