Heather Brandon comes to IMPACT Group with 25+ years of experience in business consulting and career transition services. Having grown up in West Texas, Heather has an in-depth familiarity with the energy sector, but her experience in business consulting, healthcare management, and university instruction enables her to work across a wide variety of industries, including the nonprofit, medical, and health service delivery sectors, telecommunications, manufacturing, and financial services. Heather also has extensive experience working with individuals at all organizational levels, from line workers in union shops to senior executives in Fortune 100 companies.
Prior to starting her own practice in career transition and coaching, Heather provided business consulting with Jannotta, Bray and Associates, eventually transitioning to career development and executive assessment/coaching. She has also served as a community organizer and a clinician before moving into healthcare management, where she was named the first Regional Director for the VA’s Vietnam Veterans’ Readjustment Counseling (Vet Center) Program in the Northeastern U.S. and Caribbean (U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico).
Heather received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and has taken courses in organizational development and diagnosis from the Graduate School of Business at New School University. She is also the author of Casualties: Death in Viet Nam, Anguish and Survival in America.
A lifelong community volunteer, Heather currently concentrates her time on the performing arts and animal welfare in Austin, Texas, where she makes her home.
