Senior Career/Transition Coach
As a career coach, Ken Meyers has worked with well over one thousand professionals, from individual contributors to CEOs. His extensive career in Human Resources includes overseeing staffing, executive recruiting, and leadership training departments. As a result, he offers clients a unique perspective from the hiring manager’s side of the desk on what employers look for in résumés, interviews, and other key components of the recruiting and selection process.
Ken currently serves as a career/transition coach at IMPACT Group, empowering professionals across the U.S. to assess their career aspirations, fine-tune their job search skills, and land the best opportunity for them. Ken also has a passion for coaching university students. His student coaching philosophy is deeply rooted in his own personal experience of selecting a career and landing his first job. In addition to his work at IMPACT Group, Ken is currently mentoring students from Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas. He also serves as a college and career advisor for at-risk students attending North Central Texas College.
Prior to his current work, Ken served as a senior HR leader, where he worked for companies like Ericsson, a global technology powerhouse with business in 120+ countries. During his time at Ericsson, he had the privilege of working and living abroad with his wife and two children while on assignment in London. He has worked in or visited close to 25 countries, including China, Egypt, and many Western European nations. While at Deloitte Consulting, his client list included Fortune 500 companies such as Nissan, Lincoln Financial, Campbell’s, AMD, Sprint, and Cardinal Health.
