Prior to career coaching, Lisa managed a counseling practice in individual, relationship, and group therapy, with an emphasis on career and life transitions. She founded and directed a professional massage therapy training program and taught courses in science and business practices at the massage school.
In addition to her experience, Lisa holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology. She is a Board Certified Coach with specialty designations as Career Coach, Executive/Corporate/Business/Leadership Coach, and Personal/Life Coach. She is also a Certified Global Career Development Facilitator, Certified Neurolinguistic Programming Master Practitioner, and Nationally Certified Counselor.
Lisa has written several books, including Design Your Life, 7 Secrets To Your True Calling, Managing Your Career, and Career and Life Design Planner. She founded the Latino Business Network and has provided bilingual business advising for the Small Business Development Center. Lisa is committed to ending poverty by empowering low-wage earners to develop a plan for advancing their careers.
In her personal life, she enjoys nature, gardening, yoga, meditation, and international and domestic travel. Lisa is also a complete dancing geek: Latin, Ballroom, East Coast Swing, Zydeco, but especially West Coast Swing.
