Renee Toplansky is an Executive Career Coach, Corporate Trainer, Coach Mentor, and Assessor. She discovered coaching in the crossroads of psychology, learning, communications, and leadership. Leveraging her background in neuroscience, Renée helps individuals, teams, and organizations quickly identify priorities, clearly envision their future, and progressively move toward positive, sustainable change. Her passions include helping people find and excel at what comes next, guiding them through change, and helping them strengthen their communications, emotional intelligence, and team effectiveness.
Renée formally became a coach in 2004 and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Along with her designation, she holds a master’s degree in Journalism and an undergraduate degree in Psychology.
Her corporate experience spans over 12 years as an Assistant Director of Communications and Learning and as an Internal Coach at Ernst & Young. Prior to Ernst & Young, Renée worked for 13 years as a Senior Consultant/Senior Project Manager for Usertech, a performance support firm, where she designed comprehensive strategies and led teams to help clients transition their employees through major technology and business change. Her clients included Equitable, Paine Webber, AT&T, Intercontinental Hotels, Southern California Edison, Mobil, Kraft, and Pepsi.
Renée also brings over 25 years of expertise in consulting, management, human resources, and learning and development from her experience at global Fortune 500 companies. She is a certified Facilitator for DiSC, Five Dysfunctions of a Team, EQi/EQi 360 (Emotional Intelligence), and AMA and MHI global leadership programs. She is a Toastmasters International Competent Communicator. In addition to coaching, she has served as a university adjunct faculty, teaching graduate-level technical and business communications.
