Coach Spotlight: Vicki Prasch
After relocating several times, I have seen it all! Unexpected things happen, places are different, lifestyles change. It’s best to be flexible and look at these things with an open mind. I encourage others to think about how they can apply their strengths and interests across many different job opportunities and careers. Rarely will you be disappointed! It’s surprising the doors that can open when you consider your options.
Since 2009, I’ve worked with individuals and families to help them find a new career and build a new life during corporate relocations. Sometimes moving to a new city is the perfect time to try something you’ve always dreamed of doing. It presents a chance to start all over. This is why I really enjoy working with women entrepreneurs to help them pursue their dream. No two days are ever the same at the office. That is what I love about my job.
After marrying my high school sweetheart in Ohio, we embarked on our first relocation to Indiana, living in Muncie, Indianapolis, and Anderson. Our adventure then led to Birmingham, AL; Washington Crossing, PA; Alpharetta, GA; and Chesterfield, MO. You could say we’ve moved around a bit. Home is wherever my husband and I are! Our three adult children live in three different states. Luckily, they are all within a day’s drive so we see them often.
Now that our children are grown, we recently moved to St. Louis, MO. We really enjoy city life. On nice days, you can find us riding our tandem bike. We also enjoy running and traveling. Ten years ago, we started working on our “bucket list” activities. We hiked the First 14er in the Rockies (hiking to 14,000 feet) and will hike the Grand Canyon next spring. My husband and I are grandparents now and we want to be as active with our grandchildren as we were with our children when they were young!
